Surrey Memorial Hospital is the part of Fraser health care hospital that provides integrated medical services to the people of Canada. The hospital provides with home health, mental health, public health and residential health care services. The hospital has its affiliations with UBC Faculty of Medicine that is the medical school of the University of British Columbia. Surrey Memorial Hospital specializes in different types of medical services such as Pediatric and Maternity Care, Cancer Care, Surgical Care, Kidney Dialysis, Renal Care, Palliative Care, Sleep Disorders and many more. It is the publicly funded hospital that consists of the emergency department in terms of Level III trauma center to provide hospice services to millions of Canadian people. The hospital provides fund innovative programs, medical equipments, research and training programs with the complete support of the Surrey Memorial Hospital Foundation. It consists of 499 acute care beds for the patients, 25 High Acuity Unit beds, 2 dedicated medical floors, 48 private neonatal rooms, 25 Intensive Care beds, rooftop helipad, laboratory and a clinical academic campus.
