What is Navy Army Federal Credit Union?
Navy Army Community Credit Union is a military credit union in the United States. The member owned financial institution is administered by a board of directors that is elected by its members. The credit union was formed in January 1955. In the initial years, it was named the Naval Employees Corpus Christi Federal Credit Union and only the Naval Air Station Corpus Christi personnel had the facility to GAIN its membership. The membership barrier was removed in 2003 and it became open to everyone who resides in the Coastal Bend to gain membership. It had been proposed by the credit union administration in 2011, to make it chartered under the state of Texas from the federal charter, for the expansion of the credit union in Texas. The head office of the credit union is situated in Corpus Christi.
