The company started by a salesman Ablan Leon in the year 1909 in Welland, Ontario with the establishment of dry goods outlet and later became a furniture retail store. It also expands its operations in southwestern Ontario and also bought many retail outlets in Toronto area. Leon's Furniture Limited was publicly incorporated in 1969 and created its
Warehouse store in the year 1973. The donation was also provided to Boys & Girls Clubs of Canada of Canada during the celebration of its 100th anniversary.
