Kuwait is a country that shares very thick international relations with various countries of the world. Kuwait is believed to be a very free state with a rich cultural heritage and is admired by many for its transparent governance in the Arab world. Over the past few years the relations of Kuwait with Lebanon have proved to be quite wavy witnessing many Ups and down. However in the past the relations have been termed as Deep-rooted and historic, wherein both the countries seemed to share excellent social and economic relations. Kuwait Embassy is basically representative office of Kuwait that is head by Ambassador of Kuwait. The basic function of the Embassy is to grant visas to the people of Lebanon for the intended purpose of travel. The Kuwaiti consular officer in the Embassy looks after protecting the citizens residing in Lebanon. If in case of any passport loss people need to approach the Embassy located in Bir Hassan, Beirut, Lebanon. The consular officer grants visas to Travelers from Lebanon, either for study, travel, work or stay. However recently a controversy had sparked between two nations when the Embassy of Kuwait had asked its citizens and diplomats to leave Lebanon following a harassment and security threat. This decision came in reflection to the violation in laws, where one of its diplomats was questioned at the security check for absurd reasons.
