It came into existence in the year 1981 with great effort of Sim Wong Hoo. It began its operation with the development of memory board of Apple II computer and later in 1987, it started manufacture Creative products. Creative Technology Limited has its operational headquarters in Jurong East, Singapore.
The company provides a large collection of digital and multimedia products such as web-cams, PC sound cards, headphones, portable audio players, speakers and pocket video cameras. In addition, Creative Technology Limited also manufactures PC keyboards, graphics cards, mice, CD and DVD players and much more.
As of 2010 records, the company had approximately 800 employees and it had revenue of US$ 231 million. Creative provides its products and services to its customers with the help of authorized dealers, retailers and distributors situated in different geographical regions throughout the world. The company also provides after sale services through its service centers.
