What is Avery Fisher Hall?
Avery Fisher Hall is one of the three buildings of the the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts complex. Avery Fisher Hall houses New York Philharmonic, with a capacity of 2,738 seats. Formerly the hall is known as Philharmonic Hall until 1973 when it has been shifted to its present name. Avery Fisher Hall is the venue for many events, both musical and non-musical.
