Silverwood Lake is an artificial water storage pond, lies on the west fork of the Mojave River. It is one of the America's largest reservoirs in view of water volume. The water volume of Silverwood Lake is around 73,000 acres feet. Silverwood Lake was established by the construction of the Cedar Springs Dam in the year 1971.
