What is Kuwait Embassy Australia?

The Embassy of the state of Kuwait in Australia was formed on 31/1/2002 and its office is located in Canberra, Australia. This also serves as the Kuwait Embassy for New Zealand also. Since the State of Kuwait obtained it’s Independence in 1961 Kuwait and the Commonwealth of Australia has established a very strong bilateral relationship both in terms of cultural & financial sources. Kuwait a small country situated in the northern part of the Arabian Peninsula is the 2nd largest Oil producing country in the world. With its strong economic growth and influence in the decision making OPEC it was important for Australia to maintain a very healthy and controversy free relationship with Kuwait.
