Alexander Rose is an American author and a historian. He was born in 1971 and pursued his education at Cambridge University. Alexander Rose was awarded a doctorate for his thesis, Radar Strategy: The Air Dilemma and British Politics, 1932-1937. He has worked with the Daily Telegraph (UK) and the National Post (Canada) as an editorial writer for several years. Alexander Rose has also written for the Wall Street Journal, the Washington Post, The New York Times, the New York Observer etc. Among the books that Alexander Rose has authored include Kings in the North: The House of Percy in British History, Washington's Spies: The Story of America's First Spy Ring and American Rifle: A Biography. He is a member of the United States Commission on Military History, the Society for Military History and the Royal Historical Society.
